“It’s more fun in the Philippines” is the new slogan of the Department of Tourism in its campaign to boost tourism in the Philippines. It was already leaked in online social networking sites before its official launch and you can see different adaptations of the poster bearing the slogan. Looks like most Filipinos welcome with enthusiasm this new campaign. I also crafted my own “It’s more fun in the Philippines” poster which you can see below. It’s my own little contribution to help boost the country’s tourism campaign.
But not all are happy with this new slogan as some critics say that it’s a rip-off of the Swiss tourism advertisement six decades ago. For a change, I hope that these critics stop whining and being sarcastic but instead divert their energies and creative imaginations by helping this new campaign succeed. This is a challenge for all Filipinos not just for the Department of Tourism.
