It looks like the MyPhone A919 Duo came from the same OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) as with the Micromax A110 Canvas 2 from Indian telecommunications company Micromax. It has an introductory price of Php7,990 which is still very affordable considering its features.

Is this upgradable to jellybean?
Although the RAM of this phone is only 512MB, it may still be possible to upgrade the MyPhone A919 to Jelly Bean, you can check the xda-developers forum and search for the Micromax A110 for steps on how to do it.
i noticed yung back cover ng unit sa picture sa taas ng page ay iba sa working sample unit sa myphone stores. doon sa store kasi smooth yung texture tapos may mapa ng Pilipinas but yung picture sa taas textured tapos wala yung mapa ng Pilipinas. May I know if yung textured back cover ang nasa unit pag binili mo o kagaya nung nakita ko sa myphone store...thanks...

It's not a rebrand, Micromax A110 and MyPhone A919 just happens to have the same OEM which is common these days on most electronic devices to bring down costs.

But I presume you wanted to connect using Data services since you're using Smart SIM, make sure set Data connection on your phone.

A919 lasts bat life lasts around 2-4 hours of continuous gaming, maybe the same for web browsing since laging on ung screen.
Don't have info yet on how to upgrade A919 to Jelly Bean, di na po pwedeng upgrade RAM at di rin pwedeng magkaroon ng tv feature.
Google Play only accepts credit card as mode of payment. Pero madami namang free apps available so di na kelangan magbayad.

@AnonymousCheck your mobile network settings, place your SIM card in the SIM1 slot of the phone. You may also have to consult the tech support of the provider.
